Residence of the Bishop of London until 1973. Tudor red-brick courtyard with Georgian additions & Butterfield Chapel (1867). Walled garden. Two previous HLF funded restoration projects; a third is in progress due for completion spring 2019.

Access via ramps to ground floor for general tours. (max visitors 400)

  • Tours of public rooms & Jessie Mylne Education Centre every 60 mins (12pm-4pm) max 30 per tour. Tours start West Courtyard.
  • Tours of upstairs offices (including Tudor roof) at 10.30am, 11.30am (Max 10 per tour)
  • Garden tour at 2pm (Max 20 per tour)
